Artnation's Writers Intensive
Do you love
to write? Dream about having a consistent, intense
writing practice? Would you like to:
• Strengthen the poetics and creative effect
of your work
• Dust off and breathe life into unrealized
writing projects
• Give and get support from a group of committed
writers
Artnation is forming a writers’ collective.
We’re looking for aspiring writers devoted to
creative writing of any sort---poetry, fiction, essays,
screenplays, etc. This requires an intensive commitment
for at least three months and up to two years. Through
personal and collective efforts, writers will elevate
both their quality of expression and the quantity
of creative output.

Our monthly literary program dedicated to live readings of contemporary and experimental plays, will take place in Iran for six months. The Cold Reading Series takes place on the last Tuesday of each month.

Artnation's Cold Reading Series---in Tehran, Iran!
This month's reading took place half way around the world in Tehran, Iran, among a group of international playwrights, performance artists, and filmmakers. They read Edward Albee's Zoo Story and Fereydoun Sadeghzadeh's Whirlpool, an adaptation of a Sadegh Hedayat story.

Jack Hirschman reads from The Arcanes

Jack Hirschman will read from The Arcanes, an epic collection of poetry spanning thirty years of poetic production. The 126 poetic inquries in The Arcanes combine political and social engagement with stormy leaps of mind, heart, and soul. The Arcanes are published by Multimedia Edizioni.
